Monaco bombing suspect found dead near Kyiv; 2 men detained

What's new: Ukrainian prosecutors said one detainee is a military intelligence officer and both men may also be tied to the June 29 blast.

A Ukrainian woman wanted over a bombing in Monaco that injured businessman Vadym Yermolaiev and two relatives was found dead near Kyiv with gunshot wounds to the head, Ukrainian authorities said. Prosecutors identified her as 39-year-old Anastasiia Berezovska, who was the subject of an Interpol Red Notice after the June 29 attack. Two men were detained on suspicion of killing her, including an officer from Ukraine's military intelligence service, known as HUR, and a former police officer. Authorities said the suspects had been in contact with Berezovska after she returned to Ukraine on July 1 and sent money to her crypto and bank accounts. Investigators in Ukraine and Monaco are also examining whether the men helped carry out the bombing.
