Missing Singapore driver, 60, found dead in car after 2 days

What's new: Police said they do not suspect foul play, and the family located the rental car through its GPS tracker.

A 60-year-old private-hire driver who had been missing for two days was found dead inside his rental car in Bedok, Singapore, on June 15. Police said they were alerted at about 12:40 p.m. to an unnatural death at Block 632 Bedok Reservoir Road and the man was pronounced dead at the scene. Preliminary findings found no sign of foul play. Family members had lost contact with him after he left home for work at about 11 p.m. on June 11. After filing a police report around midnight on June 14, they contacted the car rental company, which used the vehicle's GPS to trace it to the Bedok parking lot. His niece told local media the area was a place he often visited when he was younger. Investigations are ongoing.
