Ministries, agencies seek more 2027 state budget funds
New requests: Polri seeks Rp61,1 triliun, KKP Rp30 triliun and Kementan Rp22,43 triliun as lawmakers review indicative ceilings.
A number of ministries and agencies have begun seeking additional 2027 funding in working meetings with the DPR as lawmakers review the APBN indicative ceilings. Among the largest proposals, Polri asked for an extra Rp61,1 triliun on top of an indicative ceiling of Rp118 triliun. Deputy Chief of Police Dedi Prasetyo said the need covers personnel spending, operations, capital outlays and preparations for securing the 2029 Pemilu. Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan also sought an additional Rp30 triliun from a Rp15,63 triliun ceiling to speed up priority programs. Kementerian Pertanian proposed another Rp22,43 triliun from a Rp23,23 triliun ceiling to support food sovereignty targets. Kementerian Perindustrian requested Rp1,59 triliun, Kementerian Koperasi Rp1,34 triliun and PPATK Rp516,4 miliar to strengthen their programs in 2027.
