Meta launches Muse Image AI tool for ads, Instagram and WhatsApp

Meta has rolled out Muse Image, a new AI image-generation model built by Meta Superintelligence Labs and designed for consumers, creators and advertisers. The tool is available through the Meta AI app and site, WhatsApp direct messages and Instagram Stories, with free access capped before paid plans kick in. Meta said Muse Image will also power Advantage Plus tools that help brands generate ad creative and image variations. The release is part of Meta's broader push to cut reliance on outside image models and turn its heavy AI spending into new revenue. The company also previewed Muse Video, which it plans to make public in the coming months.
