Linda Noskova wins Wimbledon 2026 after beating Muchova
The 21-year-old Czech claimed her first Grand Slam title and is projected to rise to world No. 7.
Linda Noskova won Wimbledon 2026 after defeating fellow Czech Karolina Muchova 6-2, 5-7, 6-3 in the final in London on Sunday WIB. At 21, Noskova became the youngest Wimbledon champion in 15 years. It was also the first Grand Slam title of her career, after she had never gone beyond the quarterfinals at a major. The match grew tight when Muchova rallied in the second set, saving several championship points and forcing a deciding set. Noskova regained control in the third set to secure the Venus Rosewater Dish. Projections put Noskova up to world No. 7, while Muchova could rise to No. 6, which would be her best career ranking.
