KY finds alleged judge misconduct in Nadiem, Andrie cases
The Nadiem report includes 12 alleged violations, and KY is preparing clarifications from the complainant, witnesses and judges.
Komisi Yudisial has found alleged code-of-ethics violations by first-instance judges in two separate cases: the Chromebook laptop corruption case involving Nadiem Anwar Makarim and the acid attack case against KontraS activist Andrie Yunus. Abhan Misbah, a KY member overseeing judges and investigations, said both reports have been received and are being reviewed further. KY will summon the complainant, witnesses and the reported judges for clarification before the case is taken to a plenary meeting. In the Nadiem side’s report to KY, there are 12 points of alleged violations against four judges at the Jakarta Pusat Tipikor Court: Purwanto S. Abdullah, Sunoto, Eryusman and Mardianto. Meanwhile, Andrie previously reported the military judge handling his case.
