KPK names Kediri Customs chief suspect in Blueray case
His suspect status came from two new investigation orders after a trial exposed Rp3,2 miliar to Gatot and Rp91 miliar total.
KPK has named the head of the Kediri Customs and Excise Supervision and Service Office, Gatot Heroe Hernanda, a new suspect in an expanded probe into alleged bribery and gratuities tied to imports involving PT Blueray Cargo Group. Acting KPK Director of Investigations Achmad Taufik Husein confirmed the designation on Wednesday, July 22. Gatot's name first surfaced when Blueray owner John Field was questioned as a witness at KPK's Red and White Building. In a hearing at the Central Jakarta Corruption Court a day earlier, John said he gave Rp3,2 miliar to Gatot in an envelope marked “PGH”. KPK said the suspect designation was made after investigators judged the evidence sufficient. The case stems from the February 4, 2026 sting operation and has since expanded through two new investigation orders, following findings of Blueray payments totaling Rp91 miliar.
