KPK suspects Kuansing regent cut ASN TPP by 50 percent

KPK suspects suspended Kuantan Singingi Regent Suhardiman Amby cut additional income payments for civil servants in the Kuansing local government by about 50 percent. Acting KPK Director of Investigations Achmad Taufik Husein said the finding is one source of the gratuity allegations now being examined by investigators. Beyond the TPP cuts, KPK suspects there was also payment from honoraria later deemed an overpayment in a BPK audit. KPK said that when repayment was requested, staff and ASN in the Kuansing local government were instead asked to cover the shortfall through donations so the money could be returned. In the case, KPK has detained Suhardiman, Kuansing Regional Secretary Zulkarnain, and PT Mitra Ideal Consultant President Director Ardiles.
