KPK seizes Alphard linked to Lombok Barat regent bribery case
The car was allegedly given by PT Meconel Sistim Instrument Director Alvonsus Gani in connection with projects at PT Air Minum Giri Menang.
KPK seized one Toyota Alphard that was allegedly received by nonactive Lombok Barat Regent Lalu Ahmad Zaini in its corruption investigation into project work in Lombok Barat Regency on Thursday (23/7). KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo said the vehicle was allegedly from PT Meconel Sistim Instrument President Director Alvonsus Gani and was tied to projects at PT Air Minum Giri Menang. The car was secured during a sting operation at the regent's home and then taken to Mako Brimob. That same day, investigators also searched a number of locations to collect additional evidence. In the case, KPK has named Zaini, Alvonsus Gani and PT Air Minum Giri Menang President Director Sudirman as suspects in alleged conflict of interest, bribery and gratuities.
