KPK questions Hilman Latief again over 20,000 hajj slots

KPK again questioned former Director General of Hajj and Umrah Management at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Hilman Latief, as a witness in the 2023-2024 hajj quota corruption case on Wednesday (24/6) at the Red and White Building in Jakarta. This round of questioning focused on why the 20,000 additional hajj slots were divided evenly, with 50 percent for special hajj and 50 percent for regular hajj. According to KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo, investigators are also tracing who initiated the arrangement, whether it came only from the Ministry of Religious Affairs or involved associations and special hajj operators.
