KPK questions Golkar staff in Pekalongan regent corruption case

Police also questioned DPRD, BPJS officials, private employees and entrepreneurs to trace the flow of project work.

KPK questioned dozens of witnesses in its investigation into alleged corruption in the procurement of goods and services at Pemkab Pekalongan for the 2023–2026 budget years, on Wednesday (17/6), at Polres Pekalongan. Among those summoned was Emma Margyati, staff member at DPD Partai Golkar Kabupaten Pekalongan. Investigators also questioned Deputy Speaker of the Kabupaten Pekalongan DPRD Ruben R Prabu Faza, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Kabupaten Pekalongan head Widhi Astri Aorilia Nia, BPJS Kesehatan Kabupaten Pekalongan head Sri Mugirahayu, as well as several private employees and entrepreneurs. The case implicates former Pekalongan Regent Fadia Arafiq in an alleged procurement conflict of interest. KPK is examining allegations that Fadia intervened in outsourcing service projects in more than a dozen regional agencies, subdistricts and RSUD, which are said to have been won by PT Raja Nusantara Berjaya.
