Komisi III DPR approves Rp989 billion extra for KPK
The 2027 KPK budget need rises to Rp2.22 trillion, with extra funds for digitalization, LHKPN, prevention and enforcement.
Komisi III DPR RI approved an additional Rp989.3 billion for KPK in 2027 during a working meeting at Kompleks Parlemen, Senayan, Jakarta, on Wednesday (17/6). With the approval, KPK's 2027 budget need rises to Rp2.22 trillion from an indicative ceiling of Rp1.23 trillion. KPK Chairman Setyo Budiyanto had earlier said the 2027 indicative ceiling was down by about Rp349 billion compared with the 2026 DIPA. In the meeting, KPK initially proposed an additional Rp762.3 billion, but Deputy Chair of Komisi III DPR Ahmad Sahroni pushed for a larger figure. The extra funds will be used for digitalization development, LHKPN management, prevention and anti-corruption education programs, corruption case enforcement, and strengthening the anti-corruption information system.
