Knicks accept White House invite after NBA title, Seahawks wait

The New York Knicks have accepted a White House invitation to celebrate their NBA championship, owner James Dolan said Wednesday, though the date and size of the group have not been finalized. Dolan said he also invited President Donald Trump to attend a game and called him a longtime friend. Trump attended the Knicks' Game 3 loss to the San Antonio Spurs at Madison Square Garden before New York won the NBA Finals 4-1. By contrast, the Seattle Seahawks still do not have a White House visit scheduled after their Super Bowl LX win over the New England Patriots on Feb. 8. With Seattle's offseason program over since June 11, bringing players and staff back together this summer would be difficult.
