Kemhan ends training for 33,785 future Koperasi Merah Putih managers
Graduates will return to their regions and await a central call before a two-year assignment arranged by BP BUMN.
The Ministry of Defense has concluded training for 33,785 participants in the Sarjana Penggerak Pembangunan Indonesia program, who are being prepared as prospective managers of Koperasi Desa/Kelurahan Merah Putih and Kampung Nelayan Merah Putih. The closing ceremony for the first batch was centered at Lanud Halim Perdanakusuma, East Jakarta, on Friday (31/7). Tri Budi Utomo, the ministry's secretary-general, said about 3,500 participants attended the ceremony in Jakarta, while the rest were spread across Indonesia. After the closing, participants will return to their regions to wait for a call from the central committee before being assigned to work for two years. Tri said BP BUMN will arrange the placements. Kemhan is also preparing training for a second batch, with the schedule still awaiting a central committee meeting.
