Kemhan closes SPPI training, Koperasi Merah Putih managers set for 2 years
The second training wave remains pending, with the central committee set to meet Friday afternoon in Jakarta to decide the schedule.
The Ministry of Defense closed the Bela Negara Sarjana Penggerak Pembangunan Indonesia education and training program for prospective managers of Koperasi Desa Kelurahan Merah Putih and Koperasi Nelayan Merah Putih at Lanud Halim Perdanakusuma, East Jakarta, on Friday. The ceremony began at around 08.00 WIB, with Kemhan Secretary General Lt. Gen. TNI Tri Budi Utomo serving as inspector. After the ceremony, Tri said participants who completed the training would receive part-time assignments for about two years at the cooperatives. Kemhan also said the opening of the second SPPI training wave was still awaiting a decision from the central committee, which was scheduled to be discussed later that day.
