Karoline Leavitt heads back to MAGA Inc after White House exit
What's next: The former press secretary plans to attend a Republican convention in Dallas before the November midterm elections.
Karoline Leavitt, the outgoing White House press secretary, said Aug. 21 that she will return to MAGA Inc when she leaves the administration at the end of the month. MAGA Inc is a pro-Trump super PAC that can raise unlimited sums to influence elections, including through advertising, as long as it does not coordinate directly with candidates or their official campaigns. Leavitt previously worked for the group from 2022 to 2024 before joining Donald Trump’s campaign team. She said she still plans to appear with the president at a Republican convention in Dallas in early September, ahead of November’s midterm elections. Leavitt had disclosed on Aug. 12 that she was stepping down to spend more time with her family.
