JKN patient in Luwuk gets repeated GERD inpatient care easily
Yati Hapsari has been referred several times from Banggai to Palu and Makassar, and her family says the quality of care stayed consistent.
Yati Hapsari, 67, a participant in Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional at BPJS Kesehatan Cabang Luwuk, Central Sulawesi, said she has been able to undergo repeated treatment for GERD without worry because the costs are covered by the JKN program. Yati's son, Budi, said his mother has been hospitalized several times after experiencing shortness of breath, chest pain and even fainting when the condition flared up. He said Yati also has gone to the emergency department several times because she has difficulty avoiding spicy food. Budi said access to care has been fast and without major obstacles. He added that his mother was once referred from a hospital in Banggai Regency to Palu and Makassar, and the quality of service, medical procedures, equipment and facilities was considered good in each city.
