SPK Urges Police to Investigate Doxing of UGM Lecturer Nabiyla
The threat via WhatsApp included NIK, address, family data and device location after a post criticizing ASN transfers at Kementerian PU.
Serikat Pekerja Kampus (SPK) has urged Polri to investigate allegations of doxing and intimidation against Faculty of Law lecturer at Universitas Gadjah Mada, Nabiyla Risfa Izzati. SPK said Nabiyla received threatening messages via WhatsApp on Thursday, 16 July 2026, after posting an academic comment on X about transfers of aparatur sipil negara within the Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum. According to SPK chairman Dhia Al Uyun, the perpetrator displayed the victim’s personal data, including address, nomor induk kependudukan, place and date of birth, family data, and the last known location of the device, while demanding that the post be deleted. SPK said the act threatened academic freedom and was suspected of violating the Undang-Undang Perlindungan Data Pribadi. Amid the attention, Menteri PU Dody Hanggodo denied involvement and said he did not know about the spread of the personal data.
