Several Iranian officials said the conditions include ending the war, lifting the blockade and sanctions, and compensation for damage from the conflict. At the same time, Iran and Oman are discussing a temporary joint shipping corridor, including mine-clearing work and arrangements for vessel traffic. According to media reports cited by those sources, ships can still pass through a limited route, but shipping flow remains far below prewar levels.
