Indonesia falls 2-3 to Kamboja, finishes SEA V Cup runner-up
The second leg of the SEA V Cup 2026 will be held in Indonesia on July 22-26 after Kamboja won the first-leg title.
Indonesia's men's national volleyball team finished runner-up in the SEA V Cup 2026 after a 2-3 loss to Kamboja in the final at Candon City Arena, Philippines, on Sunday. Indonesia fell in five sets, 23-25, 26-28, 25-23, 25-22 and 11-15. Kamboja took the first-leg title after being more efficient early and then pulling ahead again in the deciding set. Indonesia assistant coach Nur Widayanto said a poor start lifted Kamboja's confidence, while his team continued to struggle with attack finishing and first-ball reception. He also pointed to Indonesia's defense, which several times failed to anticipate Kamboja's attacking patterns. The tournament will continue with the second leg, scheduled to be held in Indonesia on 22-26 July 2026.
