Hundreds of residents clean up Musi River banks in Palembang

Hundreds of residents joined forces to clean up trash along the banks of the Musi River in Palembang, South Sumatra, on Saturday (22/8). The effort was initiated by several community groups and targeted a riverside area piled with garbage. In the activity, residents picked up litter scattered along the riverbank, then gathered it for sorting and removed it from the riverside area. The movement was aimed at building public awareness of cleanliness while preserving the environment around the Musi River. The event also served as a reminder for residents not to litter and to help care for the river together.
