Houthi attack in Marib, Hadramawt kills 30 Yemen troops
In Najran, 11 civilians were wounded, including seven Saudi nationals, as concern over the Yemen war widened again.
Ballistic missile and drone attacks by the Houthi hit several government military camps in Yemen's Marib and Hadramawt provinces on Thursday night, killing at least 30 personnel and wounding others. Some military reports cited by AFP put the death toll as high as 58. Yemen's Defense Ministry said the attacks struck Al-Ruwaik, Al-Abr and Al-Wadiah, near the Saudi Arabia border. The Saudi-led coalition also reported 11 civilians wounded in Najran; seven were Saudi nationals, including a woman and a 4-year-old child who suffered burns. Houthi military spokesman Yahia Sarea claimed the attacks targeted concentrations of Saudi-backed forces and said the operation killed hundreds of opponents.
