Houthi threaten Saudi oil facilities as Yemen conflict escalates
The warning follows strikes on Sanaa and Abha, with Houthi leaders saying key Saudi targets remain within range.
Houthi in Yemen threatened to attack Saudi oil facilities and vital installations if Riyadh continues pounding their territory. Houthi leader Abdul Malik Al Houthi said all Saudi oil facilities could become missile and drone targets if Saudi Arabia remains involved in the attacks. The warning came after Sanaa airport was struck, then Houthi claimed to retaliate with missiles and drones against Abha International Airport. Senior Houthi official Abdullah Al-Naami also said important targets in Saudi remain within range and warned of a broad response if flights to or from Sanaa are blocked. Tensions rose after Jordan announced the Amman-Sanaa commercial route, amid reports that an Iranian plane carrying a senior Houthi delegation was briefly diverted to Hodeidah.
