Harry and Meghan plan UK return 6 years after royal split

What's new: the move would keep their US and Portugal properties, while their nonworking royal status would stay unchanged.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are preparing to return to the UK six years after leaving royal life and settling in the United States, according to CNN Indonesia and a BBC report. CNN Indonesia reported the couple plan to move with their children, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, and build a private home in Britain that is not tied to the royal family. The report said they would keep properties in the US and Portugal. The BBC separately reported Meghan is in talks for a role in Netflix series "The Gentlemen" and said the couple have been weighing a move that could include time in the Cotswolds. CNN Indonesia said King Charles would not alter their status as nonworking royals and private citizens.
