BBC reports said the decision was made recently after a July trip in which Harry, Meghan and their children spent time with King Charles III at Highgrove and with relatives from Princess Diana's family. The couple are expected to keep their properties in the US and Portugal while setting up a private home in Britain. The move does not restore their role as working royals, and there is no plan for a partial return to official duties. Reports also said the decision does not signal any repair in Harry's strained relationship with his brother, Prince William.
