Golfphoria 2026 in Bali draws 312, targets world record
Guinness World Records verification is still under way after the reggae-themed virtual golf event was held in Denpasar.
Bali International Golf held Golfphoria 2026 in Denpasar, Bali, on Saturday, 25 July 2026, with 312 participants and a submission for recognition by Guinness World Records. The annual tournament used a reggae-themed festival concept, with two tee-off sessions at 08.00 and 13.30 WITA, followed by a gala dinner in the evening. Participants played a virtual simulation at Royal Portrush Dunluce Links, Northern Ireland. The event followed last year’s achievement, when Golfphoria won a Rekor MURI for the virtual golf tournament with the most participants in Indonesia. Organizers also worked with 47 sponsors and ran the social program Everyone Can Golf, Everyone Deserves a Chance for children from orphanages in Denpasar aged 6-10 years.
