Garuda-InJourney offers 170,845 free domestic tickets for tourists
The program lets Garuda international round-trip passengers connect onward to other cities, starting with Yogyakarta, Central Java and Lombok.
Garuda Indonesia and InJourney have launched the Free Add-on Domestic Flight program, providing 170,845 free domestic flight seats for foreign tourists holding Garuda international round-trip tickets to Indonesia. The scheme is designed so foreign tourist visits do not stop in Bali and Jakarta, but continue to more tourist destinations. InJourney Senior Vice President Corporate Secretary Yudhistira Setiawan said stronger domestic connectivity is expected to keep tourists longer and encourage them to spend more at destinations. Data presented by InJourney showed average foreign tourist spending in the second quarter of 2026 at about US$1,285, with an average stay of 10 nights. The initial phase of the program highlights Yogyakarta, Central Java and Lombok, including the Mandalika area.
