The Miami match will be Didier Deschamps' final game with France, while Kylian Mbappe still chases the golden boot.
France and England will close out their 2026 World Cup campaigns with the third-place playoff at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida, on Sunday (19/7) at 04.00 WIB. Both teams exited in the semifinals: France lost 0-2 to Spain, while England were stopped 1-2 by Argentina. For France, the match also marks the end of the Didier Deschamps era as national team coach. Ibrahima Konate said Les Bleus want to bring home the bronze medal as a tribute to the coach and supporters. On the England side, Harry Kane said the team were disappointed to miss the final but still want one last victory. FIFA notes that France have claimed bronze twice, in 1958 and 1986.
