Flores quake leaves 20 of 52 gas stations offline, fuel flows
Fuel is still being delivered by tanker trucks under extra security as landslides disrupt routes and 12 kerosene agents are affected.
Pertamina Patra Niaga is still distributing fuel and LPG in Flores, Nusa Tenggara Timur, after the Aug. 15, 2026 earthquake, although 20 of 52 gas stations have not resumed operations. As of Aug. 15, only 32 gas stations were back in service, while the rest were constrained by power outages, facility damage, and safety concerns amid the risk of aftershocks. In Manggarai, two gas stations were damaged in the fueling area. Fuel distribution is being carried out with tanker trucks and extra security, especially on roads hit by landslides such as Reo-Ruteng, Ende-Bajawa, and Trans Marapokot. Five LPG agents in Flores are still operating, but 12 kerosene agents have been affected by the disaster. Pertamina is also facing constraints at Fuel Terminal Reo and on the Nagekeo-Ngada access route to FT Ende.
