Firdaus Oiwobo reports former UGM BEM chief Tiyo to police
Firdaus accuses Tiyo of insulting Prabowo-Gibran and defaming SPPG and MBG; police are probing the June 15 complaint.
Lawyer Firdaus Oiwobo has reported former Universitas Gadjah Mada BEM chief Tiyo Ardianto to Polres Metro Tangerang Selatan. Polres Tangsel public relations chief Ipda Yudhi Susanto confirmed the police report was filed on Monday, 15 June, and is now being handled by Satreskrim for further investigation. In a video on his Instagram account, Firdaus said the complaint was triggered by Tiyo's criticism, which he considered insulting to President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, as well as defamatory toward SPPG and MBG. Firdaus said he reported Tiyo under Article 263 of the Criminal Code and or Article 433 of the Criminal Code and or Article 434 of the Criminal Code. Police have not detailed the case or released initial findings.
