Festival Anak Pancasila 2026 set for children in Tangsel
The event at Alun-Alun Pondok Aren is framed as an outside-the-classroom lesson in history, culture and the arts.
Yayasan Rumah Anak Pancasila will hold Festival Anak Pancasila 2026 at Alun-Alun Pondok Aren, Tangerang Selatan, Banten, as a space for learning, creativity and strengthening children’s national character. Foundation chairman Juan Alexander Wake said the biggest challenge now is keeping national values alive amid rapid social change. He said many children do not yet understand their nation’s history, its heroes or the meaning of Pancasila. For that reason, the festival is designed to offer a cultural experience that carries Pancasila values while building the character of young people through history, culture, faith and the arts. Organizers also are calling on families, communities and the education sector to help create an environment that supports character formation from an early age.
