Febrie seeks return of 74 kg of seized gold and cash

Former Jampidsus Febrie Adriansyah is seeking the return of 74 kilograms of gold, hundreds of billions of rupiah in cash and other items seized from his family home. The request was submitted by his lawyer, Febri Diansyah, during a pretrial hearing at the Pengadilan Negeri Jakarta Selatan on Tuesday in a money-laundering case. In the petition, the legal team also asked the judge to rule that the seizure during the July 9, 2026 search of the Febrie family home in Sentul City, Babakan Madang, Bogor, was invalid and not binding. Febri distinguished between family personal belongings such as documents and photo frames and other seized items. He said that if the search and seizure are found defective, the items cannot be used as further evidence. Single judge Richard Edwin Basoeki is handling the case.
