Eli Lilly lifts 2026 sales view to $91 billion after Q3 beat
What's new: Shares jumped about 9% as Zepbound and Mounjaro topped expectations, outweighing weaker-than-expected Foundayo sales.
Eli Lilly raised its 2026 revenue forecast to $91 billion to $92 billion after third-quarter results topped Wall Street estimates, driven by continued strength in its diabetes and obesity drugs Mounjaro and Zepbound. Adjusted earnings came in at $7.48 a share on $24.40 billion in revenue, ahead of analyst expectations of $6.26 a share and $22.61 billion in sales, according to LSEG. Lilly said Mounjaro revenue rose 65% to $10.72 billion, with sales outside the U.S. up 93%, while Zepbound brought in $5.35 billion. Shares climbed about 9%. The company also said sales of its obesity pill Foundayo, launched in the U.S. in April, fell short of Wall Street expectations.
