Dukcapil launches mobile services for quake victims in 6 NTT regencies

At the Aeramo post in Nagekeo, officers issued 300 documents in a day, including 108 electronic IDs and 93 family cards.

The Ministry of Home Affairs' Dukcapil Directorate General opened mobile population administration services for residents affected by the earthquake in Nusa Tenggara Timur from July 24 to Aug. 28, 2026. The program covers six regencies: Manggarai, Manggarai Barat, Manggarai Timur, Ngada, Nagekeo, Ende, and Sikka, using six service units equipped to record and print electronic IDs at affected sites. At the Aeramo Parish post in Aesesa District, Nagekeo Regency, the service was opened together with the local Dukcapil office for residents whose documents were lost or damaged. Over one day, officers issued 300 documents, including electronic IDs, family cards, child identity cards, birth certificates and death certificates. The service is important because population documents are needed to access social assistance, education, health care and other public services after a disaster.
