Driver of Singapore-registered car flees Johor crash after posing on camera

A driver of a Singapore-registered car allegedly left the scene after a crash in Johor, despite repeatedly telling the other party he would not flee and posing for photos on video. Footage shared in a Johor-Singapore causeway Facebook group on June 11 showed the man telling the woman filming him that a photo of him was enough when she asked for his identification. Sheena Tow, who posted the footage, said her sister recorded it and that the car hit their mother’s vehicle. Tow also wrote that the driver appeared to smell of alcohol, while the video showed deployed airbags and slurred speech. The family later filed a police report. The exact time and location of the crash were not clear from the post.
