DKI to waive tourist and public transit fares on June 22, 27, 28
The free access applies to all holders of Indonesian ID cards, while MRT Jakarta will charge a special Rp1 fare on those three days.
The DKI Jakarta provincial government will waive entry fees to a number of tourist attractions and public transportation services on June 22, 27, and 28, 2026, to mark Jakarta's 499th anniversary. The policy applies to all holders of Republik Indonesia ID cards, not only Jakarta residents. DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung said the free facilities include Ancol, Taman Margasatwa Ragunan, Monas, museums managed by the DKI provincial government, and regional government-owned sports facilities. For transportation, the offer covers Transjakarta and LRT Jakarta, while MRT Jakarta will apply a special Rp1 fare for all trips on the same dates. The MRT fare policy refers to Keputusan Kepala Dinas Perhubungan DKI Jakarta Nomor 102 Tahun 2026.
