DKI prepares hydrogen bus infrastructure for Transjakarta fleet

The DKI Jakarta provincial government is beginning to finalize plans to use hydrogen for public transport, especially the Transjakarta fleet and Transjabodetabek services. DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung said he had spoken with Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Bahlil Lahadalia, who also assigned the president director of PLN to discuss the needed supporting system. According to Pramono, the stage now being prepared is the infrastructure before the plan is announced further to the public. In addition to support from the Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry, a number of hydrogen vehicle makers have asked for their products to be tested in Jakarta. They are ready to provide one to two cars as a pilot project for hydrogen use in the capital, Pramono said.
