DKI begins building Dukuh Atas deck linking 6 modes by 2028

The DKI Jakarta provincial government began construction of the Dukuh Atas pedestrian deck in Central Jakarta on Sunday (21/6), a project designed to connect six modes of transportation in one transfer hub. The facility, often nicknamed the “doughnut bridge,” will integrate KRL Commuter Line, MRT Jakarta, LRT Jakarta, LRT Jabodebek, Kereta Bandara, and TransJakarta. DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung said the route would make transfers between modes smoother because passengers would no longer have to move through open space in hot or rainy weather. He also proposed that the area be equipped with city check-in facilities and immigration services linked to Kereta Bandara. PT MRT Jakarta is scheduled to begin building the project in mid-2026, with completion targeted for 2028.
