DKI deploys 5 mobile animal clinics across Jakarta

The service also includes vaccinations, ultrasounds, minor surgery and sterilization, with a target of 23,000 animals in 2026.

The DKI Jakarta provincial government has begun operating five mobile animal clinic vehicles that will serve each administrative city. DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung inspected the launch of the service in Kramat Jati subdistrict, East Jakarta, on Friday, July 10, 2026. Each unit is staffed by veterinarians and paramedics, and provides consultations, health checks, vaccinations, treatment, blood, biochemistry, urine and feces laboratory tests, as well as ultrasounds. The service also includes sterilization and minor surgery. The provincial government said the program is intended to expand access to animal health services while maintaining Jakarta's status as a rabies-free city. In 2026, DKI is targeting 23,000 animals for sterilization.
