Devin/Faathir fall 1-2 in Macau Open 2026 final
The young Indonesian pair lost focus after leading 15-10 in the second game and finished runner-up in their first Super 300 final.
Indonesian men's doubles pair Devin Artha Wahyudi/Ali Faathir Rayhan failed to win the Macau Open 2026 title after losing to South Korea's Jin Yong/Lee Jongmin in the final on Sunday. Devin/Faathir fell 21-18, 19-21, 10-21 in the BWF World Tour Super 300 title match at Macao East Asian Games Dome. After taking the first game, they led 11-6 at the second-game interval and stretched the margin to 15-10. Yong/Lee then rallied, tied the score at 16-16, and went on to claim the second game 21-19 before dominating the decider. Faathir said the opponents grew more confident after erasing the deficit, while Devin acknowledged they lost focus and were not calm enough when the pair was caught. Even so, the result marked the first BWF Super 300 final for the young Indonesian duo.
