Devan Andhika wins BGCC 2026 regional semifinal in Tegal
The three Tegal winners will advance to the November grand final in Jakarta, where prizes include hundreds of millions of rupiah.
Devan Andhika Saputra took first place in the Bright Gas Cooking Competition (BGCC) 2026 regional semifinal in Tegal, Central Java, on Saturday (8/8/2026). Feli Sitta Mayasari placed second and Bobby Utomo Putra third after competing with 40 finalists selected from 393 online participants and 467 offline participants. In the semifinal, contestants were asked to prepare a mystery ingredient dish using squid and shrimp. Their dishes were judged by chef Joko Patriot and Yuda Bustara. The winners received a total of tens of millions of rupiah in cash, an initial Bright Gas 5,5 kg cylinder and a premium cooking set. The three will represent Tegal at the BGCC 2026 grand final in Jakarta in November, with a chance to compete for prizes worth hundreds of millions of rupiah, including a culinary course at Le Cordon Bleu, Thailand.
