CrowdStrike jumps 11% after Q2 revenue hits $1.47 billion

Why it matters: The cybersecurity company raised full-year guidance as AI-driven threats fueled demand for its Falcon Flex platform.

CrowdStrike shares rose more than 11% in extended trading after the cybersecurity company beat fiscal second-quarter estimates and lifted its full-year outlook. Revenue climbed 26% from a year earlier to $1.47 billion, topping analyst expectations of $1.44 billion, while adjusted earnings per share came in at 31 cents versus the 29 cents expected. Annual recurring revenue rose 25% to $5.84 billion, including record net new ARR of $333 million. Net income was $5.3 million, compared with a loss of $70.2 million a year earlier. CrowdStrike said demand strengthened as companies sought protection against new AI-driven cyber threats, and said Falcon Flex accounts more than doubled from a year ago.
