China blocks 46 U.S. firms from government procurement

Suppliers including Lockheed Martin and Raytheon lose access to China government tenders, while 10 other U.S. firms face export controls.

China on Monday (22/6/2026) barred government agencies from buying products from 46 U.S. companies, widening Beijing's response to Washington's restrictions on Chinese firms. China’s Ministry of Finance said the rule took effect immediately for government procurement. Affected names include Lockheed Martin, Raytheon Missiles & Defense, Boeing Defense, General Dynamics, and Anduril Industries. Separately, China’s Ministry of Commerce also placed 10 U.S. companies on an export control list, suspending shipments of dual-use goods to them. Beijing said the steps followed the U.S. adding dozens of Chinese companies to a blacklist tied to the military. The ban exempts U.S.-invested companies that operate and manufacture goods in China.
