Canada, Swiss to decide 2026 World Cup Group B title
A draw is enough to send Canada through and keep it in Vancouver for the round of 32.
Canada will face Swiss in the final Group B match of the 2026 World Cup at BC Place in Vancouver on Thursday at 02.00 WIB, in a contest that will decide the group winner and a place in the knockout stage. Both teams have four points from two matches, but Canada top the standings on goal difference.
Canada opened the tournament with a 1-1 draw against Bosnia and Herzegovina, then rebounded with a 6-0 win over Qatar. Swiss first drew 1-1 with Qatar before beating Bosnia and Herzegovina 4-1. For Canada, the match could open the way to a first-ever World Cup knockout-stage berth. Swiss bring the experience of having reached the round of 16 in each of the last three editions.
