Umrah tour bus crashes into wall in Nagreg, 1 dead
Thirteen other passengers survived, and the trapped victim could be evacuated by SAR teams around 03:00 WIB.
A PO Putra RB bus carrying a group of umrah pilgrims crashed into a house wall fence on Jalan Raya Nagreg, Bandung Regency, West Java, early Friday, killing one passenger. The victim, identified as Lilis Sugesti, 52, was trapped inside the bus and was evacuated by a joint SAR team around 03:00 WIB before being taken to RSUD Cicalengka. Police said the single-vehicle crash occurred as the bus with license plate B 7858 ZAA traveled from Bandung toward Tasikmalaya. On the downhill stretch, the driver was believed to have lost concentration, causing the vehicle to veer right and hit the wall. Final data showed 14 people were involved; 13 survived and those with minor injuries have been discharged.
