Gowa regent reported over alleged false testimony in divorce case
The report to Polda Sulsel also questions a court summons the complainant says he never received.
Gowa Regent Husniah Talenrang has been reported by her ex-husband, Muhammad Khaerul Aco, to Polda Sulawesi Selatan over alleged criminal conduct in a divorce case at Pengadilan Agama Makassar. Two witnesses identified as R and W were also reported. The complainant's lawyer, Sangung Ragahdo Yosodiningrat, said his client learned of the divorce ruling only after receiving a copy of the decision in June 2026, even though he says he never received a court summons. After reviewing the ruling, the legal team also alleged that witness testimony did not match the facts and was given under oath. The complainant said the report is not intended to challenge the divorce ruling, but to ask police to investigate the alleged criminal conduct during the court process.
