The segment’s nonperforming financing ratio improved to 1.80 percent, supported by agriculture, trade and education services.
PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk booked SME financing of Rp25.69 trillion as of April 2026, up 13.67 percent from a year earlier. Growth was driven by sectors tied directly to daily needs, especially agriculture and plantations, wholesale and retail trade, and education services. BSI Retail Banking Director Kemas Erwan Husainy said the company continues to support the SME segment amid dynamic economic conditions. At the same time, financing quality remained steady, with the non-performing financing ratio at 1.80 percent, improving from 1.88 percent. BSI also expanded non-financing support through the BEWIZE by BSI cash management system, business training, business matching, the BSI UMKM Center, and halal certification assistance.
