British man charged after hidden camera found in plane toilet

A 52-year-old British man was charged in Singapore after investigators said he hid a camera in an aircraft toilet during a Scoot flight from Osaka to Singapore. Hugh Lutley faces one count of voyeurism and one count of obstructing justice over the Oct. 7 incident on flight TR821. Police said he concealed the device in the toilet, then switched on its recording function remotely through a mobile app after leaving. A cabin crew member later found the camera and alerted a colleague. Investigators said Lutley then deleted the app and related photos from his phone after realizing the device had been removed. He was detained when the plane landed at Changi Airport, and officers seized his phone and the camera.
