Bournemouth beat Sturm Graz 3-0 in first European home game

What's new: Bournemouth became only the second English club to win its first two matches in a major European competition since Bolton in 2005.

Bournemouth marked the first European home game in the club's 127-year history with a 3-0 Europa League win over Sturm Graz at Vitality Stadium. Evanilson headed in the club's first home goal in Europe late in the first half from Adam Smith's cross, before Rayan added a second after the break. Álvaro Rodríguez sealed the result with a stoppage-time penalty. The victory followed Bournemouth's win at Real Sociedad and continued a remarkable rise for a club that was hit with a 17-point deduction in League Two in 2008-09. BBC Sport said Bournemouth are only the second English side to win their first two matches in a major European competition since Bolton in the UEFA Cup 21 years ago.
