Botok Enters DPR Plenary Balcony During Asset Seizure Bill Protest
AMPB coordinator arrived at 10:00 WIB and watched the session as DPR took up a progress report on the bill, which has not received Surpres.
Aliansi Masyarakat Pati Bersatu coordinator Supriyono, alias Botok, entered the balcony of the DPR RI plenary meeting room in Jakarta on Thursday as a protest over the Asset Seizure Bill took place outside the parliamentary complex. Botok arrived at about 10:00 WIB with a colleague from AMPB and watched the session from the balcony facing the podium. The 3rd plenary meeting of the 1st session of the 2026-2027 legislative year included a report from Commission III on progress in drafting the Asset Seizure Bill in its agenda. Several other items were also discussed, including the 2027 state budget draft, changes to the Prolegnas, fit and proper tests for candidates to head OJK's mineral and strategic commodities exchange oversight unit, the Forestry Bill, and a report from DPR's 2026 hajj oversight team.
